Bold, rich, and deeply rooted in place, Ipswich 1633 is our signature French roast, crafted to reflect both tradition and craftsmanship.
This blend brings together coffees from Ethiopia, Sumatra, and Nicaragua, carefully paired to create powerful complexity. Expect deep chocolate richness, subtle berry sweetness, and a buttery, full-bodied mouthfeel, rounded out by earthy notes and hints of gentle spice.
We opened our café in Ipswich in 2003, surrounded by rugged fishermen, artisan boat builders, weathered deckhands, and the unmistakable salt air of a working wharf. That environment shaped our approach to coffee, honest, bold, and built with care. Inspired by the long-standing tradition of pairing coffees from East Africa and the Pacific, Ipswich 1633 is our modern interpretation of a classic blend, sourced directly from the farmers who grow it.
